Return Policy:
These are one of a kind pieces. Decide before you buy. No returns.
Metals:
Metals will patina. Brasso or Twinkle or similar can be used to remove tarnish if the look becomes undesireable.
Leather:
Do not get leather wet. If it requires a dusting a dry cloth can be used to lightly wipe clean. In dire situations where cleaning is necessairy you can use a leather conditioner to clean and restore the luster of the leather.
Treasures:
Natural stones, geodes, gems, driftwood, dried plants, airplants, shells, and succulents are subject to natural degrade, wear, change over time. The non-living items are going to last your lifetime. If they require dusting- use a damp cloth or microfiber cloth. With proper care the succulents and airplants can last for years.
Wood Care:
Dust from time to time, gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and if needed with a non-abrazive solution (trader joes all purpose mint spray is great). Do not submerge wood in water.
The wood may expand or contract depending on the weather and other unpredictable conditions. If you are having trouble inserting or removing the test tube please wait 1-2 days and try again.
If small white dots appear on the surface on the wood it means water may have splashed onto it. These can easily be removed by lightly scratching it with your fingernail.
Using the tubes with water and flora:
when filling your tube with water you follow these steps:
- Carefully Fill 3/4 with clean tepid water
- Wipe residual water from the outside of the tube with a tea-towel or cloth
- Arrange flora as desired
Cleaning the tubes:
DO NOT subject your glass tube to extreme temperatures when cleaning or otherwise as this can cause the glass to break. Always use tepid water.
If your test tube becomes dirty it can easily be cleaned with soap and water, followed by windex or similar glass cleaner.
